THREE new iPhones?!?!!? I can't believe it!

Dear Apple,
Thank you for sending me THREE free iPhones. I appreciate it, but I think you are going a bit overboard. I suspect there may be people who read this blog who don't even have one iPhone. I think that is sad. I pity those people. In fact, I wish I knew somebody who didn't have an iPhone. What in the world am I going to do with three?!?!

Two day drive to San Jose: The good, the bad and the snuggly

The Good: I have about 4000 songs on my iPod, and all of them are AWESOME (except for two.) One of my favorite parts of the two day drive was putting the iPod on shuffle, and just seeing what plays. I got a big kick out of the fact that Devo 2.0 kept coming up, a Disney produced, Devo-approved teen power-pop girl band replaying old Devo songs, with kid-friendly and more Disneyfied altered lyrics. It never failed to bring a smile to my face over the long drive. Funny, goofy shit.

The Bad: Fed Ex drivers NEVER wash their hands after they pee!

The Snuggly: Reggie is on Prozac, and he hasn't peed once since we started medicating him. All the cats did well on the long drive, Batty and Reggie in one oversized dog crate together and Bumble Buzz and Rufus in another, driving along in a second car. It's been a bit traumatic, staying in hotels and hanging out in a tiny apartment with no stuff, but they've held up pretty well. Except they get all squirrelly every morning around 6 a.m. and start running around... and we don't want them to wake the neighbors 'cause we're only suppose to have TWO cats!

Sunday: The movers arrive.

Monday: I start the new job.

Tomorrow is moving day!

Man, do I have a lot of crap. It's almost embarrassing how many comic books and Legos I have. Anyway, tomorrow the movers come and take all our shit away, and then we make the drive to San Jose over four days with two cars, each with two cats each.

We started Reggie on Prozac last week, and he has not peed once. That's good news.

And a week from today I'll be starting on my first job job in five years. Thass some scary shit.

I'll update when I can, but expect the next couple weeks to be crazy biz-zay.

Good news / bad news

Good news:My new apartment is 1/2 block away from an In and Out Burger

Bad news: I'm scared the peeing-on-carpet, wants-to-be-an-outdoor-cat, Reggie is not going to do well in a yardless, 1000 square foot, only-allows-two-cats apartment with 3 other cats, two humans, a ton of stuff, and one little kid.

I am absolutely terrified.

I'm worried I'm made a decision that will set into events that will lose my very best friend.

I feel like the world is ending.

Going back to Cali

I'm in California until Wednesday, apartment hunting for my new job.
