Help me solve the mystery... of the DC Bear!!

The Mysterious DC Bear

If you're like me, the instant the new Time Warner/DC products catalog is released, you rush out to pick it up and pour over all the fine products you cannot live without over the next year. This catalog, unlike years past, utilized a male model to show off DC's upcoming apparel line. The perhaps unexpected result of this is the sudden popularity on the blogosphere of the handsome young male who has come to be known as "The DC Bear," a phenomena now drawing legions of fans both male and female. I have to admit, I too have been drawn in by the mystery of this unkempt Casanova, this long-haired Lothario, this hirsute hunk, this shaggy sensation.

If anybody has any information on how to contact "The DC Bear," please let me know. Some mysteries are too delicious not to be solved!!!

John, this is going to end with you nude and arrested again, isn't it?

I think he's cute! Not your typical model by any means, but he looks like he has some muscle maybe? I suspect the DC Bear has some honey.....growl!

This guy looks alarmingly similar to the Free Credit Report.com guy.

You'll probably find him soon. Someone walking around town in an outfit like that? Let's just say he won't easily be forgotten.

I've never seen this catalog. How do I get one?

Have you looked in the DC Bear Club?

He looks kinda like like CHUD.com's Devin Faraci, but i'm sure Devin wouldn't be caught dead wearing a Batman T shirt.

John, have you ever seen the film Grizzly Man, particularly the last 15 minutes? I suspect you may meet a similar end. The rest of you can back off. I saw him first.

He looks NOTHING like the Free Credit Report.com guy--that particular guy looks like he would be the younger brother of ex Wizard/Top Cow editorial guy Jim McLauchlin.

i'm not the only DC "Bear" but I guess I'm going to be the most famous thanks to stupid John Layman...

John you better watch out for a bear attack on the mean streets of San Jose (at the worst I may get you completely sloshed and use your Visa to pay the bill again).

and I think I'm more of a Cub... but David is an Otter

I think I was chatting to him at the Hyatt bar in San Diego during the convention. I think he's a colourist working for DC. What was his name again....?
