The Good: I have about 4000 songs on my iPod, and all of them are AWESOME (except for two.) One of my favorite parts of the two day drive was putting the iPod on shuffle, and just seeing what plays. I got a big kick out of the fact that
Devo 2.0 kept coming up, a Disney produced, Devo-approved teen power-pop girl band replaying old Devo songs, with kid-friendly and more Disneyfied altered lyrics. It never failed to bring a smile to my face over the long drive. Funny, goofy shit.
The Bad: Fed Ex drivers NEVER wash their hands after they pee!
The Snuggly: Reggie is on Prozac, and he hasn't peed once since we started medicating him. All the cats did well on the long drive, Batty and Reggie in one oversized dog crate together and Bumble Buzz and Rufus in another, driving along in a second car. It's been a bit traumatic, staying in hotels and hanging out in a tiny apartment with no stuff, but they've held up pretty well. Except they get all squirrelly every morning around 6 a.m. and start running around... and we don't want them to wake the neighbors 'cause we're only suppose to have TWO cats!
Sunday: The movers arrive.
Monday: I start the new job.
